James M. O'Neill is a senior analyst with Celent’s Banking practice and is based in Chicago. His areas of expertise span all major channel and back office banking systems, particularly in corporate banking, systems architecture of legacy systems, and the impact of cloud computing.
Jim was previously the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Metavante Corporation in Milwaukee (now Fidelity National Information Systems). He also worked for ten years in Europe, in investment banking at Merrill Lynch in London, and in corporate financial management at the Coca-Cola Company. He led the startup of Deutsche Bank's private equity business in Eastern Europe.
Jim received an MBA from Harvard Business School, a master’s in Computer Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and an undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College.
