Biography

Patrick Wegner is a Boston-based senior analyst focused on technology innovation across capital markets with a focus on the sell-side front office. He joined Celent after 14 years of trading and market making fixed income derivatives and government bonds for RBS / Natwest Markets in Asia, Europe and North America. While at Natwest, Patrick was instrumental in multiple change initiatives, such as Dodd-Frank and the transition out of LIBOR to Risk-Free Rates.

Patrick holds an MBA from MIT Sloan with a focus on the future of financial markets, Fintech and sustainability, he has a BSc in Economics, Politics and International Studies from the University of Warwick. He also holds a certificate in ESG investing from the CFA institute and a certificate in AI in Finance.

Patrick is a fluent English and German speaker.
